We believe God has more. More for us and for our community.

If we’re going to experience it, we have to MAKE ROOM.

As our future home is being built on the corner of Johnson Ferry and Shallowford Roads, we have work of our own to do. We need to get ready.

So for the next year, we are going to make room:

  • In our hearts by praying together every month as we head into the building.

  • In our schedules by pitching in to help on Sundays.

  • In the seat next to us for someone we’re going to invite to come sit with us.

That’s what we’re inviting you to do with us this year: pray, volunteer, and invite.

For now, we’re starting with prayer!

Phase 1: Pray

The most important thing we can do to prepare for our new building is to pray. Prayer not only changes things around us, it changes things inside us as well.

Would you join us in prayer this year?

Every month we’re going to pray the same prayer together as a church. We’ll pray it on Sundays, and we’re giving you a handout so you can pray it at home.

If you’ve never prayed before, this is a great time and place to give it a try! Here is the prayer we’re praying this month:

God, I'm listening, what do you want to say to me?

God, quiet the noise around me so I can hear your voice clearly. Slow my mind and my thoughts to your pace right now. Calm my heart, and help me pay attention to what you are saying. I don’t want to rush past your presence or miss what you want to show me. Speak truth over the lies I am hearing.

As we prepare to make room, start with me, make room in me for your voice today, help me depend on you more. Teach me to recognize the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.

Before that day comes, we are preparing for one of the most defining seasons in the life of our church. This isn’t just about a building timeline. It’s about building the kingdom of heaven. We hope you’ll join us in making room.
